To The Ray Family Popup Camping Website!
We bought our Coleman Westlake Popup Camper July 2002. We had returned from a tent camping trip to Cherokee, North Carolina. We had been tent campers for years, and had always been curious about popups we'd camped near. They looked so comfortable—cable TV, AC, refrigerator, stove, showers, . . . On our last tent camping trip, it rained a lot, our air beds went flat, and the floor of our one-year-old tent leaked. We spent too much time drying out sleeping bags and the inside of the tent. We decided that a popup camper could even pay for itself since we wouldn't have to pay rental fees for cottages and rooms at the beach. We had tent camped at the beach once; once was enough for us to not try that again! So, we purchased our popup camper. Since we got it, we've traveled more and seen more places than would have ever been possible without it. The comfort and conveniences of the camper give a whole new meaning to "camping!"
